Boasting a list of loyal followers including the members of MGMT & Bloc Party, Nique will cause a ripple in the fashion world this season with their new Spring/Summer collection, in YOUTHWORKS from September 09.

Media mogul or architect, web designer or musician, Nique is the uniform of creative and their new range, inspired by co-creators Nick and Lucy Ennis’ love of modern cinema, is guaranteed to get your creative juices going.

This passion for contemporary independent film spills into every piece in the collection, in the form of inspired prints and character outfits. T-shirts take on an epic cinematic tone, drawing passers-by in with graphics that allude to the striking imagery found in indie films such as Elephant, Lost in Translation and Somersault.
As well as the eye candy that is their original, quirky T-shirt prints, the fabric is a combination of high quality jersey, cotton, and bamboo cotton, making them extremely soft and breathable- perfect for wearing all year-round.

This season sees the Nique collection hit the international market, invited to participate in the highly esteemed urban wear trade fair, ‘Bread and Butter’ in Berlin back in July. With the brand that epitomises the ideal indie fashion-crossed streetwear look, and a string of innovative and exciting retail stores about to be rolled out, this is a label to watch on both the Australian and international scenes.
